“The very hungry Caterpillar”故事還能有什麼樂趣呢? The very hungry Caterpillar”故事,在學完了星期、水果、食物到數字後,還能學什麼有趣的內容呢?

What else can we have with the story of “The very Hungry Caterpillar”? After learning about the days of the week, fruits, food, and numbers from the story, what other interesting content can students explore? One fun follow-up activity is learning the body parts of insects. But since these words can be difficult for students, what if we turn them into a familiar song? Wouldn’t that make learning easier and more enjoyable? Let’s sing and learn together!

The video documents an outdoor education activity, a summative assessment for thematic learning. The students participate in a “natural hunt” following the book “We’re going on a nature hunt”. They first learn what they need for the walk, identifying essential items. Outdoors, they work in teams to find specific leaves and plants. Back in the classroom, they combine alphabet leaves to form words related to their findings and then note down what they found. The students complete their mission, marking their worksheets with their findings.
