Happy Chinese New Year!
學期的一開始跟大家分享一個影片─如何給超有效的指令。
英語老師常常需要設計活動讓學生能順利進行任務，於是如何有效率的讓學生聽懂指令並操作是我們在課室管理中常常遇到的問題。
影片中，老師先給大家一個不是那麼好的例子，卻也是偶爾會發生在我們身上的事件。(真的…聽了也發現我有時候也會這樣耶~)
再藉由這個case說明如何給清楚的指令。
所以，為什麼要給清楚的指令？
因為當老師可以用最短的時間給指令，學生能夠據此操作，
那麼學生就會有更多時間可以說話練習。

- Clear instructions increase the students’ talking time
- Be decisive about the instruction.
- Be direct to talk less and not put more difficult words to students.
- Commentating is unnecessary.
- Write your instructions to be clear.
- Proceed by instruction and grade your language.
- Assess and not ask them if they understand.
- Demonstrate with students for the first one or two questions.
- Get their attention before you speak.
