新學期的開始，英語領域輔導團在研習次數與內容上，希望以不增加老師們的負擔與實用性為主，尤其有外師進駐學校後，我們必須做一些修正與改進，謝謝給予我們建議的老師們。而英語部落格也會在本學期中完成更新，讓老師們有一個可以搜尋教學資料與發表的園地。[@more@]

社區大學的英語課程
Hi Lotus!
Here are the classes I’m teaching. There are two intermediate/high-level classes, Newspaper English in Lotung on Tuesday nights, and Contemporary Issues, a discussion class in Yilan on Thursday nights. These would be suitable for English teachers, college students and people who already have pretty good English skills. Everybody can improve! Higher level students help out with the lower ones, and we all learn together.
The two lower-level classes will focus on travel: Easy Travel English (Mondays in Lotung), and Talking About Taiwan in English (Fridays in Yilan).
If you know anyone who might be interested, pleas spread the word. It’s important to REGISTER THIS WEEK.

Easy Travel English

We use basic travel vocabulary, and learn to hold simple conversations with hotel, restaurant and airline staff, shopkeepers and other travelers.

Using internet, foreign media and our own knowledge, we will explore various topics such as food, energy, climate and the economy. Both reading and discussion are part of the program. Everyone gets to participate and improve.

Talking About Taiwan in English
上課時間：週五晚上6:30-9:30PM (3月13日開始)
宜蘭校區：宜蘭市復興路二段77號(復興國中內)
We will look at different parts of Taiwan and learn to discuss tourist spots and natural features of Taiwan. The second half of the semester we will look at tourist spots in Ilan.
