Man Gets Valuable Violin Back
Have you ever forgotten anything
on the MRT, a bus, or a train?
Maybe you forgot your backpack.
Then later, you think, “Where is my bag?”
Sometimes you are lucky.
Sometimes, somebody finds it
and takes it to
a lost-and-found.
A lost-and-found is
where people take things
that someone else has lost.
Here’s a story about a person
who lost something very valuable.
A man, who was a very famous musician,
was taking a train in London.
This musician plays the violin.
He was taking the train to a performance,
but when he got off the train,
he forgot to take his violin.
This is a very special violin.
It was made about 300 years ago,
and it is worth a lot of money.
About $10 million NT dollars!
Wow!
So, the man checked the lost-and-found,
but his violin wasn’t there.
The police think someone found it on the train
and took it home.
The musician was very unhappy.
But later,
someone contacted the musician online.
That person said he knew who had the violin!
The musician met the person
who had the violin,
and he got his instrument back.
He must have been very relieved.
Remember, if you find something,
it’s important to take it to
a lost-and-found
so the person who lost it
can get it back.
Just doing that simple thing might
make someone very happy!
