M44 星團，中文稱為「鬼宿星團」也俗稱為“積尸氣”，在西方則稱為「馬槽星團 ( Prasepe )」或「蜂巢星團 ( Beehive )」。M44 是一疏散星團，其最亮的恆星為六等左右，距地球約 520 光年左右，天氣好的話用肉眼依稀可見到一團青白色的模糊光芒，用雙筒望遠鏡則可看到它是一片恆星散怖的區域，面積比滿月的三倍還大。參考以下網頁
