Warm-up and Review: - Review what the students learned from previous class, including vocabulary words and grammar structures.
- Discuss the main issue of the lesson—animal and oceanprotection.
- Divide the students into several groups and ask them to share what they’ve discussed.
Dialog Teaching: - Play the CD and ask the students to listen carefully.
- Read the Dialog and ask the students to repeat after teacher.
- Ask students to read the Dialog to their partners.
- Explain the usage of vocabulary words and grammar structure.
- Ask students to share their opinion about the ocean pollution and the overfishing problem.
Vocabulary Focus: - Show the flash cards, read the words, and ask students to repeat.
- Ask the students to read out loud and correct their pronunciation.
- Explain the usage of words.
- Ask students to use the vocabulary words to make sentences.
Issue discussion(ocean protection): - Ask students to point out the pollutions we have in Taiwan.
- Try to find out the cause of the pollutions and figure out how the pollutions affect our life.
- Ask the students to wirte down their plan to solve the problems if they have the right to execute.
Homework - Finish page11-14 on the workbook
- Preview the reading part and circle out the new vocabulary words
