  1. Warm-up and Review
    1. Review what the students learned from previous class, including vocabulary words and grammar structures.
    2. Discuss the main issue of the lesson—animal and ocean protection.
    3. Divide the students into several groups and ask them to share what they’ve discussed.
  2. Dialog Teaching
    1. Play the CD and ask the students to listen carefully.
    2. Read the Dialog and ask the students to repeat after teacher.
    3. Ask students to read the Dialog to their partners.
    4. Explain the usage of vocabulary words and grammar structure.
    5. Ask students to share their opinion about the ocean pollution and the overfishing problem.
  3. Vocabulary Focus
    1. Show the flash cards, read the words, and ask students to repeat.
    2. Ask the students to read out loud and correct their pronunciation.
    3. Explain the usage of words.
    4. Ask students to use the vocabulary words to make sentences.
  4. Issue discussion(ocean protection)
    1. Ask students to point out the pollutions we have in Taiwan.
    2. Try to find out the cause of the pollutions and figure out how the pollutions affect our life.
    3. Ask the students to wirte down their plan to solve the problems if they have the right to execute.
  5. Homework
    1. Finish page11-14 on the workbook
    2. Preview the reading part and circle out the new vocabulary words
