Skydiving Dunk

Hey there, do you like playing basketball?

I love basketball!

Sometimes the ball goes in the basket …

… and sometimes it doesn’t.

But I always try my best!

Some shots are harder than others.

1-1.But one thing I’ve never been able to

do … is a slam dunk.

It’s really hard.

1-2.You have to be able to jump very high.

You need to reach all the way up to the rim and put the ball in the hoop.

It helps if you’re tall too.

But when a slam dunk does happen,

it looks really cool!

Some people are really good at dunks.

There are even competitions!

Like World Trick Shot Day.

This day was started by a team of amazing basketball players

called the Globetrotters.

They are famous for doing unbelievable things with a basketball.

Every year they do something more and more amazing for

World Trick Shot Day.

The last time they did a trick,

one basketball player made the highest slam dunk ever!

The player jumped from nearly 4,000 meters!

That’s almost as high as eight Taipei 101 buildings!

He did it by jumping out of an airplane with a parachute!

He jumped out …

… and fell …

… and fell …

… came down right next to the basket … and made a slam dunk!

Woah! That’s pretty cool, right?

2.It broke the record for highest dunk.

trick they come up with next time!
