Planes Without Pilots

Narrator:

1.Hey, did you know people are making cars

that can go without drivers?

Many people think we will see these cars

without drivers on the roads soon.

沒有人在開就可以跑的車 … 好酷吧!

These cars are called driverless cars.

People say these driverless cars will be safe.

2.Driverless cars will stop by themselves

if someone walks in front of them ……

Even if a dog runs in front of them ……

          they will stop.

If you think that’s cool,

here’s something even more incredible.

3.People are also making airplanes

that can fly without pilots.無人飛機!

Yes, that’s right – planes with no pilots.

They are called pilotless planes.

Some people think we will see pilotless planes

all around the world some day.

But some people think this is a bad idea.

That’s because a lot of people think

it is too dangerous.無人飛機感覺比較危險 …

Many people already think

flying is already a little scary.

Like me! I’m already very scared of flying,

I don’t know if I could fly in a pilotless plane.

That would be even scarier.

Would you fly in an airplane

that did not have a pilot?沒有飛行員的飛機 … 你敢坐嗎?

You might have to one day.

That’s because

airlines like the idea of a pilotless plane.

They like this idea

because then they don’t need to find pilots to fly their planes!

Maybe in future we can fly to other countries

without anyone flying the plane!

That would be pretty cool …

           or maybe scary!
